Al Mohler had two other artists that were his contemporaries who shared some of his same painting styles. These were Jake Overbeek & Burnette Pletan. Little is known about these two artists. The style has some similarities to Mohler but clearly they were both painting and selling their work at the same time as Al Mohler. Their work is of nominal value compared to Mohler but that has been changing as collectors learn and appreciate more the work of Jake Overbeek and Burnette Pletan.
